It’s hard to believe that a brand that was started by Brunswick Boat Group in 2001 to bring fresh design philosophy and construction techniques to the marketplace would already be retooling, but that’s how fast technology and trends change in boating these days. Meridian’s new 441 Sedan Bridge is designed to replace the popular 411 launched in 2003, but this change isn’t merely a fashion statement. The 441 is engineered to take the builder into the next decade with a new hull design utilizing Cummins’ V-drives for now, but equally suited to Zeus pod drives, which will be an option for mid-2009 and later. ...
