12th Annual Jacksonville International Boat Show
The Jacksonville International Boat Show returns to Metropolitan Park and Marina in downtown Jacksonville, Florida, from April 18-20, 2008. The show sprawls over seven acres with hundreds of boats in water and on land. Keeping with tradition, the Jacksonville show will feature a theme–last year’s theme was “Pirates” and this year’s theme is the “History of Boating,” with a specific focus on bringing awareness to the history of recreational boating. Activities centered on this theme will include an antique boat display, maritime history display and nautical signal-flag decoding hunt. One major change show produces have made this year is to offer free admission for children and teens 16 and under. ...
