Camper & Nicholsons Acquires
Port Louis Marina in Grenada

Grenada’s Port Louis—the multi-million dollar marina development initiated by British entrepreneur and former America’s Cup contender Peter de Savary—has a new owner. In January, Peter announced that Camper & Nicholsons Marina Investments Ltd. would acquire and complete the final phases of the marina and manage its operation. The initial phase of development has 50 slips as well as 14 superyacht berths.

“Port Louis will be Grenada’s answer to St. Barts, St. Tropez, Porto Cervo, and Portofino,” says Peter, who will continue to be master developer of the overall half-billion dollar project, which includes resorts, commercial and residential property. ...

New Fees for Nevis Yacht Moorings
Weekly rates for one of the 100 newly installed yacht moorings located in the waters from Qualie Beach to Gallows Bay off Nevis are set as follows:
Yachts up to 35-feet: $15
Yachts 36- to 60-feet: $20
Yachts 61- to 90-feet: $25  ...

Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta
and Stanford Antigua Sailing Week
Sailors and sailing enthusiasts can indulge their fancy for both classic and contemporary yachts this month in Antigua.

Nearly 60 classic ketches, sloops and schooners are expected to compete in the 21st annual Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, set for April 17 to 22. Kenny Coombs, regatta chairman, says, “There will be an impressive lineup of schooners this year. Windrose, Adella, Altair, Aschanti, Meteor, and Eleonora—all over 100-feet—will be having a great race together. ...
