New gear for the helm brightened the 2008 Miami International Boat Show
The bridge. Not exactly the final frontier, but it is the place on board the boat that has experienced the most rapid technology change over the past few years. From the smallest boat to the largest yacht, it is the brain of the vessel; it’s where all the switches and buttons that control operations are located; and, above all, it is the captain’s domain. Having the latest bridge gear makes the captain’s job a bit easier on the nerves–whether the captain is an owner/operator or a professional skipper–and keeps him or her secure, especially in reduced visibility.
