Every good fisherman will tell you the tale of the “one that got away.” But, Captain Gary Clifford, who helms his 31-foot Innovator, Yes Aye, on charter fishing excursions out of True Blue Bay, Grenada, has a much different story to tell. “We took a couple of Canadian visitors out for a half-day of fishing last January,” Captain Gary says, “Angler Rick Smolander ended the day tagging and releasing a 50-pound sailfish.” ...

LAUNCHES IN MARIGOT BAY, ST. LUCIA
The sun shines bright in St. Lucia and so it gave Judith Verity, owner of Discovery at Marigot Bay, a brilliant idea that led to development of the new 12-foot Sunshine Express, a ferry that can transport up to 15 guests across the bay to the numerous local bars and restaurants around the bay. Judith, a long-time member of Friends of the Earth and an avid environmentalist, explains, “Marigot Bay is a very delicate environment. I was concerned about the amount of oil and gas leaking into the bay and I’ve also been interested in solar power. So, I looked on the Internet and discovered there was a solar powered ferry in use in Germany. This started me talking about the possibilities of having one here.” ...
