World Championship 2007

Vincenzo Onorato and his team Mascalzone Latino of Italy made history at this year’s Rolex Farr 40 World Championship held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Following in the footsteps of Jim Richardson’s Barking Mad, they became the second team to win the race twice and first to win back-to-back championships. Mascalzone beat out Ernesto Bertarelli's Swiss Alinghi with a 35-point lead. "Mascalzone first, Alinghi second. It's my dream,” Vincenzo said. “Next dream is to do that in the America's Cup maybe.” ...
